09/02/20 to 15/02/20
Updated our records for a claimant as a result of automatic wage update received from HMRC. Average wage now reduced so hb/ctr entitlement increased.
Amended numerous claims where UC is in payment following receipt of electronic notifications regarding monthly award updates. One customer's nino indicated he is a Person from Abroad. The UC award pdf quoted his nationality as British and his partner is British also so no action required.
Another claimant in receipt of UC is self-employed and had the Minimum Income Floor applied for one month and was a non-qualifier for ctr for that month as a result.
Several other claimants no longer qualified for ctr after changes in their UC award. I issued our standard letter to each of these. We received an ATLAS UC award update for one claimant but had never actually put their claim into payment. I was able to award ctr back to August 2019.
Put ctr into payment for a couple of claims that we received a month ago where we have now received confirmation of their income via UC award ATLAS.
Sent Further Information letters to a couple of other claimants following receipt of ATLAS re: Termination of UC award.
Processed an hb/ctr claim with a request for a backdate to before Xmas. This was actually a change of address from one council flat to another that happened a few days before Xmas so wasn't a new claim at all & there was no backdate to consider. I updated the claim from the date the change occurred. Colleagues in Council Tax and also at Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing had failed to inform us of the change. Customer Services had also incorrectly advised the customer to make a new claim.
On annual leave on Friday 14/02/2020.
Sounds like a packed week - well done!
