04/09/20 to 10/09/20 Wage updates this week from HMRC resulted in no change for one of them as the existing avergae wage was unchanged. The other one had significantly higher wages which I updated back to 05/10/19 (this was as far back as the info went). The overpayment was only from March 2020 however as they were still below their applicable amount until that point in time. A change of circumstances reported to us was for a non-dep moving out. The claimant is now subject to the 'bedroom tax' as a single person in a 2-bed property. Their entitlement increases however as the non-dep deduction was more than the bedroom tax. This week it is now a month since I wrote to a customer asking about her son who has just turned 18. The claimant has not replied but having checked their UC award info on CIS it still includes the child element for 3 kids so I decided no action is required and that the 18 year old should still be classed as a dep in line with the DWP decision. 28/08/20 to 03/09/20 Bank Holiday on Monday 31st August. Wage updates from HMRC this week  - one led to increased hb/ctr entitlement and the other two both led to o/p's ( one had returned to work after being furloughed but not informed us).. Another claim dealt with was to amend the claim household and the LHA assessment as the claimants son had been sentenced to prison. I noticed that there was a childcare costs amount on the claim from 2018 so I wrote out to confirm the current amount of CCC. The claimant rang on my day off & left a message to say wished to complain about this matter as she thought everything had been resolved earlier this year. On checking notepad entries from early 2020 I could see that a £2k hb o/p was created as CCC had been left on for claimants twin children even though they had started school. The CCC I was querying were for the twin's older sibling & related to an Out of School Club she attended in the school holidays. I rang the clmnt ...
