Course Induction week at Kirklees College. Sandeep gave us a course overview.
We then went through & discussed the following topics : British values, diversity, citizenship, health & safety, mental health awareness, functional skills, anti-radicalisation (particularly the Prevent programme), welfare benefits and, in particular, Universal Credit.
This went towards K1, K4 & K5 modules.
We started to make plans to do a voluntary work project also.
